Interviews
Since 2007 I have been doing cheflebrity interviews for multiple publications. My first interview? None other than Bobby Flay. How crazy is that? The first interview I ever do is with an Iron Chef? Was I nervous? A little; it was Bobby Frickin’ Flay. My kitchen etiquette was kicking in so I kept addressing him as chef. When he said, “Stuart, call me Bobby.” I replied with, “Yes, chef.”
I have fun doing these interviews. I’m also proud to say that some of these conversations have led to some truly incredible friendships. And the things I’ve done as a result – partying in Hollywood with Nathan Lyon, Bobby Bogner, Aida Mollenkamp, Tanya Holland, Brian Boytano, Susan Irby, Sara O’Donnell, John Mitzewich and Fabio Viviani. I’ve done dinner with Guy Fieri and Judson Allen, had a beer with Wolfgang Puck and I’ve even shared lunch with Emeril Legasse (the only other time my subject made me nervous). I’ve also gotten to know other Wannabe TV Chefs by interviewing several Food Network Star contestants.
If you’ve missed some of these interviews might I suggest you purchase a copy of my Kindle Single, Dinner Conversations. It’s only $2.99, but hey, I get it; it’s a crappy economy. You are welcome to sift through the archives below for free.
