Based on Popular Web Series, Chef-Comedienne Nadia G. Serves Up Colorful Recipes With a Side of Comedy

NEW YORK, NY – September 20, 2010 – Cooking Channel enters the hilarious, informative and deliciously demented world of Bitchin’ Kitchen this fall, with the series set to join the network’s primetime lineup on Wednesday, October 6 at 10:30pm ET/PT. Created and starring chef-comedienne Nadia G., the comedy-cooking show is based on the popular Bitchin’ Kitchen web series. Covering themes from “Break-Up Brunches” to “Impressing the In-Laws,” Nadia G. rocks the kitchen with her tasty techniques and stiletto-sharp wit.

In the show’s premiere episode “Bag ‘Em, Tag ‘Em,” Nadia G. cooks a meal to seal the deal – you’ve finally met the partner of your dreams (or at least not the one in your nightmares), now it’s time to lock ‘em down! With tantalizing dishes impossible to resist – French Toast with Caramel and Crème Fraiche, Sirloin Shepherd’s Pie, and Fettuccine with sweet Crab, Peas and a Rose Sauce – Nadia G. will make sure your new love keeps coming back for more.

Upcoming episode themes include “Recession Recipes” with Zesty Spaghetti a la Puttansesca, Beef and Roasted Root Vegetable Stew and Ricotta Crepes topped with Raspberry-Chili Coulis and Dark Chocolate Shavings; a “Selfish Spread” of Golden Panko Shrimp with Strawberry Aioli, Thai-Italian Spring Rolls with a Peanut-Balsamic Dipping Sauce, and Apricot-Camembert Feuilletees; then “Furious Foods” spices it up with Diavoli Fritte with Onion and Dill Dip, Penne Rigate Sauteed with Rapini and Merguez Sausage, and Key Lime Habanero Cheesecake.
